Are we being watched over?
Do you ever think about something or someone and then they ring you, or something happens to move you closer to what you were thinking about? Does that make sense? Let me clarify myself a bit more. Sometimes I can be wondering what the best thing is to say to someone and then from nowhere, like someone whispered it into my ear, the exact set of words runs through my mind. Is that me and my logical mind, or is it a spiritual guide whispering words of wisdom into my head?
It happens to me all the time. I have taken it for granted because I have never known anything else, but recently I have begun to notice the process to see exactly what does happen. Take this morning for example… my daughter is feeling melancholy and she tells me this, just before getting out of the car to catch a bus to school. Instantly she leaves the car, I know exactly what it is that she is sad about and the right set of words to help fix it.
I could put that down to logical thinking, the fact that know her so well, that I can, perhaps, read her mind or understand her at a deeper level? I prefer to think that it was one of my guides communicating to me, so that I can go back to her with just enough wisdom to help her gain an understanding.
I knew straight away what it was about, like I said, and the pain she was in, was necessary to break the shell of her understanding so that she could grow from this event.
Some people think I am an old soul… well maybe… I prefer to think that my guides are watching over me and helping me navigate this crazy, wonderful world!
How else could you explain what I am about to tell you?? Five years ago, my husband and I were looking casually at a few businesses and one of our favorite coffee shops was for sale… some colleagues got there first… no sweat, we were not terribly serious, just looking. Then life takes over, as it does.
Last Monday for no apparent reason I got the idea in my head that it would be a great idea to perhaps look at the possible purchase of a coffee shop again, I think we would be good at it! 
So we decided to go talk to our colleagues who ran the coffee shop I just mentioned, to see how they liked it, the pitfalls, etc. Low and behold, their coffee shop has just been listed for sale! Now we don’t go in there very often… so how else could I have found out about that? Is is meant to happen when it is this simple? Some might say it is a co-incidence… like I have already mentioned….. I don’t! Maybe I am just too used to this sort of thing happening, but now I think it is fate, destiny, serendipity, kismet, call it what you like… it is a sign!
So we are now in the process of having a more serious look! I guess only time will tell if it was meant to be or not… but whoever my guide is… he or she was probably a business owner in a previous life and knows a good punt when they see one!
